Services
In order to develop a personalized oral health care plan we begin each appointment with a thorough exam of your teeth, gums, bone, jaw joints and soft tissue.
In addition to this initial assessment we offer the following dental services:
Preventative
In our preventative care, we use the DIAGNOdent laser light technology to help detect tooth decay earlier than conventional methods. Using a defined wavelength the laser can find 50% of the decay that goes undetected by present diagnostic methods without any x-ray exposure.
We also strive to eliminate the most uncomfortable elements of dentistry – the shot, the drill and annoying numbness! Using Waterlase technology, laser-energized water droplets gently wash away decay and provide pinpoint accuracy, reducing the chance of causing damage to healthy tissue. We use this system for all decay removal, cavity preparation, smile design, general soft tissue procedures and general dentistry for enamel and dentin.

ZOOM Whitening
Bleaching lightens teeth that have been stained or discolored by food and age, or darkened as a result of injury. There are two ways to professionally bleach teeth. Dr Patel can apply a bleaching solution to one or more of your teeth in one visit. Or, you can be fitted with a custom-made bleaching tray that you wear for a couple of hours every night at home.

Porcelain Veneers + Enamel Shaping
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made, tooth-colored shells that cover the front of your teeth. Once applied, they correct or camouflage misaligned, poorly shaped, damaged, or discolored teeth. The process of applying veneers usually involves two visits.
Bonding involves applying a tooth-colored plastic putty called composite resin to the surface of your chipped, broken or discolored teeth. The composite resin can also fill in gaps between your teeth and protect roots that are exposed due to gum recession. The entire procedure is virtually painless and is usually completed in one visit.
If your teeth are a bit overcrowded or uneven, they can be slightly contoured in a procedure called enamel shaping. For instance, if one tooth looks much longer than the rest, some enamel can be removed and your tooth can be reshaped. The process is usually quick and painless.
INVISALIGN™
With recent advances in orthodontic treatment, INVISALIGN™ now makes straightening crooked teeth more attractive.
By changing a series of clear, removable aligners approximately every two weeks, INVISALIGN™ moves your teeth into straighter position step-by-step until you have a more beautiful smile. And unlike braces, these clear aligners can be removed while you eat and brush your teeth.

Bio-compatible Restoration
We use bio-compatible fillings on every client and every restoration. We have researched the specific materials we use to ensure that the resin fillings and crowns we use do not raise hormone levels and do not have any oxide reactions.
The ceramic/porcelain used by our Cerec Restorative system is different from the conventional laboratory ceramic currently in use. One of the most biocompatible restorative materials in dentistry, its hardness is very close to that of natural tooth structure which allows it to wear naturally with time. This is the key to the long term success of any restoration.
Plus, in all but the most broken down tooth, the Cerec Restorative system has eliminated the need for crowning (capping), conserving your tooth’s structure. This allows us to design faster and more conservative restorations which significantly reduces the time you spend in the in the dental chair.
Implants
A lost tooth or teeth can be replaced with dental implants. Dental implants are artificial teeth that are attached directly into your jaw.
More secure and natural looking than dentures or bridgework, longtime denture wearers can benefit from implants by having their loose-fitting dentures secured to a specially designed implant attachment.
Allergies
Our office caters to clients and any of their needs. We have filters controlling the air quality and do allergy testing with Clifford Labs for dental materials.
Mercury Fillings
Mercury vapor and dental infections can have a negative impact on overall health. Due to this concern, we focus on patient education and strive to remove mercury amalgam, silver, fillings in a safe way. To accomplish this, we follow removal protocols based on recommendations of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and other prominent biological and holistic dental organizations.
Dr. Patel is highly aware and trained to safely remove mercury fillings. Safe removal includes use of a rubber dam, the option of pure oxygen, and copious amount of water with suction. Dr. Patel has collaborated with respective agencies to do research and develop materials that are biocompatible.
After the mercury is removed, we restore the tooth with safe biocompatible materials. The mercury that is removed is isolated from our patients and staff and disposed of responsibly. In addition, we have installed a special water filter that separates the mercury so it does not go down the drain and pollute the environment.
